Plan Ahead for Frustrations

It is just a fact of life. Each and every day of your life something is going to go wrong or not according to plan. Here’s a great way to handle this in advance.

Assume in advance that three things are going to go wrong each and every single day. Promise yourself that you will not get upset about anything until after these three occurrences.

When this happens to me, I often find myself able to laugh things off that otherwise might have been upsetting. And I tend to sweat the small stuff less often.

The great thing about this is that you’ll prove to yourself that you don’t need to get upset, angry or frustrated each time something doesn’t go according to plan or something goes wrong. On the days when three or less things happen that are upsetting, think how great you’ll feel.
